Season with fresh local produce and warm Moroccan hospitality. This will make for an unforgettable experience that will last a lifetime.

This trip is a must-see

  • Enjoy a Moroccan home-cooked meal in Chefchaouen, the Blue City. Enjoy a delicious dish made with seasonal ingredients and prepared with love.
  • You can make it at home with hands-on demonstrations and classes.
  • Meet local goat cheese producers in Chefchaouen, take a tour through Marrakech’s medinas, and visit a cooperative of women who make argan oil.
  • Take in Morocco’s top attractions, such as the Blue City of Chefchaouen and the ancient medina of Fes. Also, don’t miss the bustling city of Marrakech.
  • Grab a fork, grab a plate, and enjoy Morocco’s most famous dishes: tagine, pastilla and couscous.

Are you sure this is the right trip for you?

  • Morocco is a wonderful destination for vegetarians. This trip is full of delicious fresh produce and local cuisines. You’ll have a wonderful time. We recommend that vegans review the itinerary and all inclusions so they can fully enjoy the trip. There are many other trips to Morocco that can be adapted for a variety of dietary needs.
  • There are long drives because this trip covers a lot of ground. These long drives are great opportunities to meet fellow travelers, read, or just enjoy the beauty of the area.
  • M’Goun Valley will be visited on Days 8 and 9. You can explore this remote part of Morocco on foot. However, you will need to be fit and have the appropriate footwear and clothing. If trekking is not your thing, you can find plenty of other activities in the valley.
  • Morocco’s weather can be very extreme. The heat can make summer uncomfortable, especially for people who aren’t used to it. So be mindful of when you travel in the summer.
  • While aggressive selling is not something you should expect in Morocco, you can be approached on a regular basis by street vendors and shop owners offering their products.
  • Ramadan, an annual festival that lasts for a month, can provide a great opportunity to travel. However, some services such as cafes and restaurants may not be open during the day. Sometimes, travel can also be interrupted by events. The leader will adjust your itinerary to suit, so please take this into consideration when choosing travel dates. The Essential Trip Information section will provide additional information and dates.

You can wander the old medina, and then take a taxi to the Quartiers Des Habous, the new Medina. You can then take a stroll along the Corniche and watch the locals playing football on the beaches, or relax with a cup of sweet mint tea at one of the great cafes. Join your group for a delicious welcome dinner with traditional dishes.

It has been recently restored and is now available for tourists. You can also visit a ceramics plant to see handmade pottery being made. You’ll be accompanied by a local leader on a “tasting trail” today.
